Join us to learn about the spirit of the maroon warrior
and how African Diaspora cultural arts can awaken young
people to lead and create justice in their communities.
After presentations and discussions by youth,
organizers, and teaching artists, we will provide an
opportunity for teaching artists, schools and youth to
join the effort to promote youth development and social
justice through cultural arts and deeper knowledge of
self as African descendants.
